Q&A

I am trying to cut off the central hot-air heat in a large room with a woodstove. Will the airflow control in your register cut off the incoming air completely, or will it still whistle like the inexpensive registers I’m using now?
Our adjustable louvers will allow you to close the vent. They are not 100% airtight but they do completely close. We have not had any complaints from customers saying the louvers whistle when closed. We have been selling them for 40+ years and have not heard of that complaint! Our louvers don't attach to the grille, they will tension fit into your duct and open and close with a screwdriver as needed. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!
