The entire collection of products at Reggio Register are all dreamed up and made by passionate people who want nothing more than to produce a beautiful register that will last through the ages. The central jewel in the crown that is Reggio, is the Made to Order Collection.
It is our largest collection of patterns and is available in steel and aluminum in two thicknesses. There are eight colors to choose from and 32 standard sizes available. But that’s not where it ends. The Made to Order collection is customizable.
Customizing Your Registers
Underside Lip
Standard registers are as flat on the underside as they are on the top side and that’s not a big deal unless you run into special circumstances. For instance, if you have floor registers on a hardwood floor and don’t want to drill holes in it in order to secure the register. The solution to this problem lies in the underside lip: a frame that sticks out on the bottom side of the register that fits the opening of the duct.
An underside lip keeps the register from sliding around without having to attach it to the floor. You can order an underside lip for your registers right from the online ordering page. Simply add underside lip to your order and we’ll make sure our manufacturers get the message.
Louvers
The louver is an addition that is placed on the backside of the register to control air flow. It can be placed in an open state or a closed state and anywhere in between to increase or decrease the airflow into a room.
They are easy to install and you can do it yourself in a few minutes. You do not have to fill out a custom order form to add a matching louver to your order. Just select “yes” to louvers on your order and they’ll come along with your registers.
Mounting Holes
Our registers do not come with mounting holes, but they can be added at no extra charge. The mounting holes are a must for wall and ceiling vent covers but optional for floors. If you opt not to mount your registers to the floor with screws, you must order your registers with an underside lip.
There is no extra charge to get mounting holes added to your registers and it comes with the screws. You can request mounting holes by simply selecting them on your regular order—no custom order form is necessary.
Custom Sizes
Order a register for any vent, no matter how unique it is. If one of our 32 standard sizes doesn’t work, simply fill out a custom order form to get a perfect fit. We’ll ask you to provide the inside measurement (the size of the opening of the hole) and the outside measurement (the overall size including the edge of the current vent cover). Then submit your order and our fabricators will create your custom register.

The name “Made to Order” was not meant to be kitschy. Our registers are handcrafted and designed to last a lifetime—even be passed down with a house for generations. Our craftspeople are meticulous artists and put great care into the making of every register.
