- what is the largest vent grill that you carry
- In our cast Scroll design, we offer 31 sizes. Our largest is for a 30 x 30 opening size. If you need a size we don't offer, we are able to make custom sizes in laser-cut steel or laser-cut aluminum. You can call or email us for pricing. - How thick is the underside of a grille? I am looking for 8”x16” outside dim’s to sit on my hardwood floor but I am not sure if the duct and floor construction below will clear the grill underside (the 6x14 dimension). I have about 5/8” max clearance available (from top of floor to top of floor structure below). I couldn’t find the thickness of your grills anywhere here. Also, I want the top of grill to be beveled on all 4 sides and instructions on how to insure that are not completely clear. Thank you!
- Our cast aluminum, scroll vent grille has an underside lip on the back that is 1/4" deep, that will fit into the 6 x 14-hole size. Overall, the grille will measure 8 x 16, the border that sits on top of the floor is 3/16" thick. Click the box that says Beveled edges quantity defaults to the register quantity when placing the order and that will add in the beveled edges. If you have any other questions, let us know. - I have very large floor intakes and would love to buy these. Is there a way to insert a filter into these?
- Our filter grilles cannot be used in the floor. They are made of 18-gauge steel. We do have customer use our grilles in the floor and place a filter behind it. You could use an L bracket to hold it in place. Then you can lift the grille as needed to access the filter. Our grilles don't come with a frame to hold the filter. - Hi. I have damage to my laminate floor near the register. The register is a 4x10 and I’m looking for a register with a wider faceplate to hide the damage. The length is fine but need it to be 6-1/2” wide. Do you make custom?

- Does the louver attach to the grate so that grate sets firmly in the vent opening?
- Our louvers don't attach to the grille. They will tension fit into your duct. We send a long gray foam strip that your wrap around the louver and then push the louver with the foam strip wrapped around it into your duct. That will give it a nice tension fit. The grille then goes into the opening but does not connect to the louver. You open and close the louver with a screw driver as needed. If you have any other questions, let us know. Thank you.
