Watch Brett Waterman, the host of Magnolia Network's Restored, unbox and install a Reggio Register.
The Scroll Design Pattern
The Scroll pattern in black metal slid seamlessly into this gorgeous 1901 Victorian home. The registers were the finishing touch the house needed to go from run down house to a triumph in historic Victorian renovation.
Completed Installation
The finished installation made this small dividing wall a visual delight. The custom paint and register were both faithful to the period. This little wall might have faded into the background, but the Victorian details make it stand out.
Securing the Register
The register, though it was a perfect fit, was secured by four screws. We recommend all wall installations be secured by screws. You may want to secure floor registers if you have children or pets who may disturb or remove them. However, it is optional as gravity will keep them in place. Many choose to secure floor registers in carpet to ensure the grille fits in the opening properly. Read more about this home restoration and how Reggio Registers helped make it a success.
