Won’t your cast iron floor registers rust after the housekeeper damp mops the floor?
Hi Kathleen, Cast iron will rust over time if in a high moisture location or if the grilles are getting wet and not dried off after mopping. Our aluminum grilles will not rust. We offer a black aluminum that looks like our cast iron, the biggest difference is they will weigh less, and they won't rust if in a high moisture location or if they are getting wet.
