Q&A
- I am trying to cut off the central hot-air heat in a large room with a woodstove. Will the airflow control in your register cut off the incoming air completely, or will it still whistle like the inexpensive registers I’m using now?
- Our adjustable louvers will allow you to close the vent. They are not 100% airtight but they do completely close. We have not had any complaints from customers saying the louvers whistle when closed. We have been selling them for 40+ years and have not heard of that complaint! Our louvers don't attach to the grille, they will tension fit into your duct and open and close with a screwdriver as needed. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!
