We have this square vent grill without louvers. Is it possible to purchase and add louvers ourselves?: Yes, you can purchase an adjustable louver for this grille. The louver will allow you to open and close the vent. It does not attach to the grille; it will tension fit into the ductwork, and you open and close it with a screwdriver as needed. I have the inside dimensions. Do I also need the outside dimension for an order? I like to be able to direct the flow of air. Is the separate louvre assembly necessary for that or is there some other way to add this to the register? Is the 3/16-inch register material adequate or does it look cheap when compared with the larger size? None of my sizes fit what you offer. I need to go custom, I guess.
